Brady Medical Solutions Releases an In-Line Vision System
MILWAUKEE (January 16, 2007)--Brady Medical Solutions, a world leader in drug
delivery, electrode, test strip, advanced wound care, and health and beauty solutions, announced
that it has integrated in-line vision systems into its rotary die-cut machines.
Brady Medical Solution’s in-line vision systems, an alternative to manual
inspection methods, offer fully automated inspection solutions that increase efficiency, decrease
cost, and allow precise levels of defect detection. Typically used in applications where measurable
features must be inspected in-line, vision systems can be effectively mounted on die-cutting
machines. Systems contain a camera and sensors – the camera element measures critical island-placed
layers, while the sensors check for slug removal. Parts deemed “out of spec” are marked with an
inkjet printer.
Brady’s in-line vision capability is particularly useful when manual inspection
is difficult, impossible, or simply inefficient. In these cases, Brady Medical Solutions can offer
unprecedented cost reduction, time savings, and detection accuracy. More information is available
